According to TMZ , a smiling Britney Spears was strapped to a gurney and taken to the hospital after a confrontation with KFed’s bodyguard. Britney refused to return custody of her children to Federline and appeared to be “under the influence of an unknown substance.” She is reportedly being held for mental evaluation.
UPDATE: People Magazine reports that is was the court-appointed monitor who called police.
UPDATE: Life & Style reports that, according to Britney’s blood test, no traces of drugs or alcohol were in her system.
UPDATE: Us Magazine reports that Britney suffered a psychotic breakdown, and was going between laughing and hysterics. She has been designated a “special needs” patient, which is reserved for people who “have either overdosed or tried to commit suicide.”
