Jennifer Lopez spoke with HARPERS BAZAAR about motherhood and the media. When asked why she has been so secretive about her pregnancy, Lopez said her husband, singer Marc Anthony, influenced her identity shift.
“He made me realize you can be an artist, and have credibility and success, without your life being on public display,” she says. “This is my experience and my husband’s experience, and we get to hold that for a little while.”As for how her little ones will handle the media scrutiny, the star insists her kids “will be whatever we are. . . . Private when it comes to that stuff.”
