For all you AMERICAN IDOL fans who wondered what became of the infamous Sanjaya Malakar, well, it turns out he has been busy negotiating a deal for television show on MTV.
PageSix.com has learned that Sanjaya Malakar and his sister Shyamali are in talks to headline their own variety TV series called The Sanjaya and Shyamali Show! The program plans to showcase a special blend of singing, dancing, comedy and, naturally, their lush manes of hair.
A brother/sister variety show – what is this the 1970s? Man, MTV will put any crap on the air . . . provided it isn’t music.
I so hope that doesn’t happen. Did you see the show he hosted the other night? Idol Stars: Where are they now? He was so dry and full of himself and he really needs to eat more or something. I really wasn’t impressed with him hosting that show.

sanjaya was polite and as usual focusing on the other idols and not at all full of himself. i waited to hear more about him, and it just didnt happen.once sanjaya gets past the shyness, he will be a mega star. that is if jealous bitter blake lewis would stop his sanjaya smear campaign . think of the bad karma blake is creating for himself besides the fact he will never be able to look sanjaya or his family in the eye again.
